Nepal Association of Northern California, NANC, is a non-profit organization. NANC's primary aim is to preserve and promote Nepalese identity and culture among Nepalese, friends of Nepal, and those interested in Nepal. It also seeks to encourage cooperation, goodwill and mutual support among Nepalese residents of northern California.

Nepal Association of Northern California (NANC) has officially declared its election to be held this coming December 13, 2008, Saturday. To conclude the election fairly adopting universally accepted methodology, NANC ExCom has formed Election Committee (EC) and all the three members of the EC were selected unanimously by the ExCom. The three members include:
Mr. Dorji Lama - Commissioner
Ms. Bishnu Gurung - Member
Mr. Dinesh Ghimire - Member
All the three members have officially been assigned with their duties on October 17, 2008, Friday during Dashain & Tihar Nite – 2008 that was jointly organized by NANC and Sunny Sagarmatha Samaj (SSS). NANC has also urged all the Nepalese residing in Northern California to actively participate in the election. The detail program schedule of election will be publicized soon.
